The City Tech Department of Architecture is pleased to host a two-day workshop organized by AIA Brooklyn’s MAP (Mentoring Architectural Pathways) Committee as part of AIA National’s Architecture Week 2026. Marking AIA Brooklyn’s inaugural participation, this initiative focuses on engaging the broader community—particularly K–12 students—in architecture and related career pathways.
Hosted at Voorhees Hall, the workshop offers a meaningful opportunity for students to explore the built environment through hands-on activities and mentorship from architects, emerging professionals, and educators. The program aims to expand access to architectural education while fostering curiosity, creativity, and awareness of future career opportunities.
We welcome participation from faculty and students to support this initiative and contribute to a more inclusive and accessible architectural community.
